| We left McCook and headed for the services at North Platt, good place to wait, has food, drink, road options and Flying-J wireless access. We spent some 3 hours sitting around and waiting. A cell started to form to our sw so we reposition ourselves to a better place. | |

| At this time Baron wasn't even showing it, so we sat in our new position, and filmed it grow. While this was happening a second cell to the North started to form that looked more promissing, so we head up and followed from behind. | |

| Here we managed to see our bigest hail of the trip, and from following from behind avoided being hit by it. | |

| Come dusk time we got some nice pictures of cloud striations, finishing the night in Grand Island. | |
