Stopped the night in the Days Inn at Elk City, Oklahoma.
Before leaving we popped next door into Dennys, for a small breakfast. While we waited for out order to arrive, we decided where to aim for. The middle of  Southern Kansas seem fine so off we went.
Heading North we could see Q building, always a nice sign.
We finally got under the edge of the base, Baron showed a few rotation warnings and the base was expanding in realtime. We spotted it trying to form one a few times, but it couldn't hold it together. But all wasn't lost, we where treated to a nice lightning show and pea size hail.
