Spent the day looking round Palo Duro, went last year but didn't really have enough time to enjoy the place. Pete and myself took a trail in hopes of seeing a famous rock, but after 3/4 of a mile in 100F heat down in the canyon, we gave up. Looking at how red we are tonight I think we did the right thing.
While we where in the canyon we could see some cloud going up, but as we left it start to form, Dew points were very low so this was a bit of a surprise. We chased them south for a while, but they soon lost their shape and we headed for the Days Inn, Woodward for the night.
