We had good hopes for today, the SPC had put out a warning for east Oklahoma, we had also arranged to meet Ozzie and group later on that day. Woke up at 5am and was on the road by 6:15. We stopped and checked the data at Vernon, Texas. The warning had shifted east, but there was a slim chance to the south of us, which we took. Cells went up but never came to much, the warning then changed to thunder storms that night so we waited, and waited, but nothing came. It's surprising what you can do if you bored and have enough empty cans.
