We headed
down into deep Texas finally ending up at Harper and parked up and
waited. Looking around we could see hundreds of little red ants running
around (Left: one of the ants nests. Right: Pete checking out the nest). |

Cloud
forms, thunderstorm warnings went out and we got a half hearted atempt,
like many chases in the past nothing came out of it.

dry with the rain falling heavily to the front and back of us.

Nothing would be happening around here, so we decided to put get
ourselves towards the Texas panhandle for tomorrow. We had already done
200 miles, and it would end up being another 350 (total 569) by
the time we got to Lubbock, Texas.
