| Makeover morning, take one empty car and fill it up with as many gadgets as you can, then a quick call to XM-Radio to get the baron system activated and you have yourself a chase vehicle. | ![]() |

| I've been asked a bit more about the radios, so here goes. Scanner at the front, followed by a CB to the left, weather alert radio on the right, then a row of power sockets. Two amateur radios, one giving out position out over APRS, and the other to talk. | ![]() |

| We headed down to Abilene, Texas, and while hanging around for something to happen we had time for a quick group picture. | ![]() |

| A cell appeared south of Abilene which we spent a lot of time just keeping into the edge of it as it was producing a lot of hail. At times we where driving along roads covered in it. | ![]() |

| Final around 9:30 due to low visabilty we gave up and booked into the Best Western, Cisco. At the price they are charging we expect waiter service in the morning for breakfast, but I guess it must have been his day off. | ||
